Method
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) and butter a baking dish.
- Layer potato slices in the dish, seasoning each layer with garlic, salt, pepper, and a portion of grated Cabrales.
- Pour heavy cream over the layers and finish with a sprinkle of extra cheese on top.
- Bake for 45–50 minutes until the potatoes are tender and the top is golden and bubbly.
- Garnish with fresh thyme and serve hot.
